I have a Scarlett 18i8, with zero issues with Win 8.1 and win 7 64 professional prior to that. My lappy tells me repeatedly that I'm due for a Win 10 upgrade. Focusrite says no issue with Win 10 on this page: https://support.focusrite.com/hc/en-gb/articles/206849319-Windows-10-CompatibilityBut I want to double-check. Anyone with a supposedly compatible product have any Win10 issues? -Scott

I'm not using that unit I have the 2i4, I had some WIN10 driver issues. I had downloaded a new BETA driver and Focusrite said go back to the original 2.5.XX driver.
After I opened a support ticket with Focusrite, I got an email with Focusrite's optimization procedures for recording on WIN10 and after doing all of them but the last one, which was too technical for me, I found my problems were not all solved.
However, since removing the Fast Boot option the unit is working fine. Someone on the forum posted that procedure. I tried to find that post, maybe the author can re-post it for you.

Not that model, but I have an 8i8, 6i6, and 18i20 all running on Windows 10. The only problems I had occurred when I tried beta drivers for Windows 10. I rolled back to the 'regular' drivers at the suggestion of Focusrite Support. I do wonder a bit why the beta driver question hasn't been settled, but I can say I really like their Support techs.

Here is the email from Focusrite. Katherine Kaplan (Focusrite ) 30 May, 13:31 Hello David, Thank you for your email. I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with your unit, but happy to help! Glitchy audio or drop out issues like this are usually down to things like optimization problems, driver conflicts, or other types of software issues. I suspect you already have done this but please make sure you follow all the steps in this Optimize your PC for Audio guide. https://support.focusrite.com/hc/en-gb/articles/207355205-Optimising-your-PC-for-Audio-on-Windows-10Go to your computer or motherboard manufacturer website and perform any and all updates such as BIOS, Chipsets, USB Controllers, Network Adapters, Video Cards, etc. These simple updates often solve odd issues such as this. If you have a motherboard with any Intel parts on it you may also want to run the Automatic Driver Update from Intel. Sometimes I see situations where the computer manufacturer may not have all the latest drivers for each individual part listed. Often Intel has even newer drivers for many parts in your computer that can solve audio problems. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/I also see you are using the 3.2.2 driver. I want to remove this and try the current main release 2.5.2 driver. 1) With the Scarlett connected please open the Control Panel > System > Device Manager. Locate the Scarlett under Sound, Video and Game Controllers section. 2) Right click the Scarlett and choose Uninstall. Make sure to check the box to remove software for the device. 3) You will see the unit disappear from the list. Unplug the unit and plug it back in. It should reappear in the list. 4) Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the Scarlett appears with a yellow exclamation mark, and/or the properties says Code 10. The Properties > Driver tab will likely say a Microsoft driver is in use. This means all the drivers are removed. 5) Next go to Control Panel > Uninstall a Program. Uninstall any Focusrite USB Audio Driver, Scarlett Family Audio Drivers or Scarlett MixControl you find here. 6) All Focusrite drivers are now removed. Please reinstall this driver. https://us.focusrite.com/downloads?product=Scarlett+2iPlease let me know how you come along after this. If the glitchy audio continues I will want to run some deeper diagnostics to help you further. Best regards. Katherine Kaplan // Focusrite Novation Technical Support

Yes, this is Focusrite's boilerplate letter about rolling back from the beta driver.

First link walks you through WIN10 audio tune up. Lots of things I never touched on win7.
This Part has kept me off the internet while recording.
4. Disable Windows Firewall, anti-virus and spyware software These should all be disabled to ensure that no interferences occur during audio recording or playback and to ensure that maximum resources are available. To remain secure while your firewall and antivirus disabled, it is advisable to temporarily disconnect from any internet connections when working with audio. This will also make sure that no network adapters are conflicting with any audio.
