Often, the latest version misses most of the users requests that have been carefully detailed and placed in the wishlist, and supported by many, many users. It often misses dealing with and resolving the many bug reports that have been painstakingly investigated, identified and reported.

2017 could be a turning point where PG reflects on those requests and actually incorporates them.

Now that would be neat.
