I've never posted before, so this is as much a test of the post working, as well as showcasing the song and arrangement. Very nice Wayne!! I don't think I've heard anything from you. This has a very sweet quality-sort of a jazzy Buffett feel. I'd like to see the RTs posted-the "band" works very well. "I owned the world that day, in a small way"-That's very nice! Really enjoyed it! Take care. Greg

Wayne,
a great start that you managed to get something up.
I like the narrative and the colour of your voice.
There are, to my ear, some phrasing issues with your singing.
Places where pauses, sustains and so forth would make your lyrics and melody fit the backing a little more to get the best from the qualities you offer.
The backing seems to have an ebb n flow , swell and reduce feeling as instruments come in and out. You might get a more successful dynamic with a rethink/remix.
As I said - GREAT start and a very promising song.

It's a real community, and those who join in actively tend to get the most out of it. I like the concept of "I owned the world" .. the song contains some very interesting imagery.
