Hi,
I'm writing this from my real work, so bear with me if I haven't double-checked the terminology...
I like the AABB-format editor (you know what I mean), even though it is slightly rudimentary.
It would be significantly easier to use, if you for each part (A,B, C etc) could also enter a short comment, like "Verse", "Bridge", "Break2" etc.
This wouldn't really have to DO anything, apart from helping you to remember which part of A,B,C,Y, Z ... really is that second break.

It is mostly used in fast-paced music, and it is designed to create tension and drama. For example, during a chorus later in the song, the composer may interject musical elements from the bridge"

An Elision is another reason why I use a DAW for the majority of my work. Say you have a verse on one track. You can put a chorus on another track so you can see where you set your Elision.
OK, a random thought;
