I'm currently investigating a specially designed cable that takes a mixer audio out (stereo hi-fi output) to a smartphone in. Useful for running simultaneous headphone type shows on eg streetjelly and send the sound to eg Periscope." Josie: "Neil, I came across an article somewhere that said to try using those cables that you get for your home stereo system. You know the ones with the yellow white and red rca plugs? I seem to be able to plug that straight into my iphone from my mixer (for broadcasting to Periscope). It does seem a little erratic, but it sometimes works beautifully. Now if only I figure when it works and when it doesn't...." -------------- It is best to use an attenuation cable. Reasonable cost, easily obtainable and it can make a big difference. Also easy to make your own. I've attached a couple of links that may help you and others here on the forum. This is a very common issue especially for you guys that broadcast.
