Hallo zusammen,
nach dem Aufrüsten meines Rechners und Neuinstallation mit Win 10 habe ich neuerlich die BiaB Version 2012 installiert. Nun ist es so, dass bei jedem Klick auf den Stylepicker die Style-Liste neu aufgebaut werden muss ("ewige" Wartezeit, und das bei einem 4GHz Quadcore...).
Zudem läuft in alten Projekten über den Vorschau-Butten immer nur der aktuell eingestellte Stil. Liegt das an Win 10 oder gibt es bei BiaB was einzustellen?
Natürlich höre ich den Aufschrei "alte Version". Muss aber eines dazu sagen, für meine Bedürfnisse lohnt es nicht, alle paar Jahre die Version zu wechseln. Zudem macht die Arbeit mit BiaB nicht unbedingt Spass und so verwende ich es nur als "Nebenprogramm". Trotzdem wäre es gut, dass "das Wenige" auch funktioniert..."

Hallo Guido, mit "kratzen" brächte ich es annähernd hin, doch um zweifelsfrei verstanden zu werden, nehme ich doch lieber meine Familie in Anspruch... ;-) Bin inziwchen nochmals ran gegangen. Es gibt auch alte Projekte, da funktioniert die Style-Vorschau, doch das neu Einlesen ist konstant, auch bei einem neu angelegten Test-Projekt. Es gäbe ja noch einige Anliegen - wie z.B. die Schlagzeugspur: Ich nehme von Biab nie einen kompletten Style, sondern such mir z.B. den Bass oder die Strings jeweils einzeln zusammen und exportiere die Midi-Spuren. In Magix Samplitude Musik Studio bearbeite ich dann alles weiter und passe es meinem eigenen Geschmacksempfinden an (z.B. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YG4LaUIJFmU). Leider sind die Schlagzeugnoten von Biab nicht mit Samplitude "kompatibel". Andersrum sind die Magix Drum-Pattern "nur Lärm", wesehalb ich auf Schlagzeug leider fast gänzlich verzichten muss. Hast du eine Idee, wie sich Biab-Schlagzeugspuren in Samplitude "brauchbar" verwenden lassen? Danke und LG Heinz

Es gibt zwei Schlagzeuge: a) Midi und b) RealDrums.
Midi-Schlagzeug ist sampletank-kompatibel.
RealDrums sind Audioaufnahmen und daher nicht für Manipulationen mit SampleTank geeignet.
Die ??? beziehen sich also nicht auf die Kinderbücher sondern auf zusätzlichen Informationsbedarf.

Styles
BIAB hatte aus nicht dokumentierten Gründen Probleme mit der Anzahl der Styles. Bei manchen Rechnern war alles gut, bei anderen nicht.
Auf meinem Desktop war alles in Ordnung, auf meinem Laptop mit einer annähernd identischen Installation (Unterschied: anderes Laufwerk) gab es Probleme. Diese konnten grundsätzlich auch von PGMusics Andrew nicht behoben, sondern nur umgangen werden. (Ich hatte ihm erlaubt via TeamViewer meinen Laptop zu inspizieren.)
Seit Version 2016 ist das Problem auf meinem Laptop verschwunden.

zu ???:
Es handelt sich ausnahmslos um Midi-Spuren. Hab auch schon versucht, in Samplitude alle Noten Schritt für Schritt nach oben oder unten zu verschieben, aber da kommt nix Brauchbares heraus.
Muss auch die Bassnoten um eine Oktave nach oben verschieben, aber das ist überschau- und kontrollierbar...
Zu Sampletank:
Kenne ich nicht. Muss mich da erst umsehen. Ich verstehe das nach dem ersten Hinschauen so, dass damit VST-Intrumente zur Verfügung gestellt werden, die mit den Schlagzeug-Midinoten von Biab im Einklang stehen?
Zu Version 2016:
Könnte mich höchstens dann interessieren, wenn Optik und Datei- bzw. Ordnerstruktur etwas näher an die Win-Gepflogenheiten heran gerückt wären. Die Version 2012 jedenfalls versetzt einem in Zeiten von WIn 2.3 oder so, und dafür gebe ich kein neues Geld aus...
Zu den anfangs von mir beschriebenen Fehlern:
Nach einer nächtlichen Aktion mit Neuinstallation funktioniert die Style-Liste einwandfrei. Doch ein altes Projekt lässt die Style-Auswahl zu, ohne den alten Style zu löschen. Hab das Projekt (den Song) inzwischen neu gemacht...

danke für deine Hilfsbereitschaft. Doch wenn es keine Standardlösung für mein "Schlagzeugdillemma" gibt, dann komme ich auch so zurecht. Wäre halt schön gewesen...
Gilt vielleicht noch zu erwähnen, ich mache ja schon ein paar Jahre lang herum und habe bisher nur vier "aufführungsreife" Videos zustande gebracht. Da lohnt sich auch der Aufwand für Sampletank nicht wirklich.

ich hatte ein paar Minuten Zeit zum testen. Ich kann derzeit mit Deiner Beschreibung Dein Schlagzeug-Problem nicht nachvollziehen. Das heißt nicht, dass Du das Problem nicht hast, es heißt nur, dass ich es nicht habe.
Ich habe einen Song kreiert und einen Nur-Midi-Style geladen (ZZPBAL12.STY). Dann habe ich das Liedchen mit F6 als Midi-1 exportiert und mit Reaper aufgerufen. Magix habe ich nicht. Reaper spielt nichts selbst, im Gegensatz zu BIAB und RB. Also musste ich ein VSTi laden, SampleTank 2, Drums, Acoustic, Big Vintage. Das Ergebnis: Ein Schlagzeug spielt, nach meinem Empfinden, das, was es spielen soll. Wenn ich dann das Schlagzeug ändere, spielt ein anderes Schlagzeug.
Gut, ich habe BIAB 2016, aber Sampletank hatte ich schon vor 2016 und da hatte es auch funktioniert.
(Reaper ist eine DAW, die für relativ wenig Geld, USD 60 für Privatmenschen, ziemlich viel leistet. Reaper stammt vom selben Entwickler, der schon mit WinAmp ein leistungsfähiges Programm für die Masse entwickelt hat.)

herzlichen Dank, dass du dir die Mühe gemacht hast. In dem Fall hält sich Magix nicht an die Sielregeln.
Die Anschaffung zusätzlicher Software wäre ansich kein Problem, aber ich bräuchte eine gesamtheitlich deutsche Anleitung, um erst mal die nötige Basisübersicht erlangen. (Einzelne Details "knacke" ich schon auch in Englsch - aber es ist halt mühsam.)
Mei zusätzliches Problem ist, dass mir Biab und Realband so fremd sind, wie ein anderer Planet. Liegt irgendwie an den ungewohnt gestalteten Dialogen und den darin verwendeten Begriffen. Ich bin nicht Musiker sondern Musikant und komme beim PC aus der technischen Richtung (CAD.) Da kommt mir das Magix Musik Studio weit besser entgegen und ich konnte damit auch von vornherein weitgehend intuitiv arbeiten.
Hab inzwischen aber gesehen, dass Realband die Drum-Midispur von Biab beim Importieren in die "einzelnen Instrumente" zerlegt.
Könnte ich diese Spuren von dort einzeln exportieren, ließen sie sich in Magix kontrolliert auf die passenden "Instrumente" verteilen und mein Problem wäre gelöst.
Sofern du dazu noch ein, zwei erklärende Sätze für mich auf Lager hättest, wäre ich sehr froh.

Servus Heinz, also ich hatte keine Ahnung, aber ein bisschen Suchen half. 1. Ich habe nicht die deutsche Übersetzung, daher sei bitte ein bisschen kreativ, sollte mein Versuch nicht ganz den Text der Menüpunkte treffen. 2. Im Drop-Down-Menü "Bearbeiten" (das zweite von links) die Auswahl "Midi" treffen. 3. Im geöffneten Sub-Menü "Split Midi Drums..." (Midi Drums aufteilen... ???) auswählen. 4. Im neuen Fenster kannst Du etwas spielen. Ich habe die Auto-Funktion ausgewählt und mit OK bestätigt. Das Ergebnis waren neun neue Schlagzeugspuren, jede mit einem Teil-Instrument belegt. 5. Im Drop-Down-Menü "Render" (keine Ahnung wie das auf Deutsch heißt, es ist das vierte von links) "Alle Tracks als individuelle Dateien speichern" auswählen -- dort den Zielort für die Dateien bestimmen und los geht's. 6. In einem Unterverzeichnis mit dem Titel des Musikstücks als Namensbestandteil findest Du für jede Midi-Spur eine eigene Datei. Ich hoffe das hilft Dir weiter. Weil ich es nicht wusste, habe ich nachgesehen: Es gibt für Reaper, ähnlich wie für BIAB, ein deutsches Sprachpaket. Der Zugang dazu ist allerdings englisch: http://www.reaper.fm/langpack/Eine deutsche Bedienungsanleitung gibt es hier: http://www.reaper.fm/userguide.phpDer hinkt aber leider ein bisschen hinter der Originalversion her. Nachtrag: Reaper ist hier aber für Dich wahrscheinlich noch schlimmer, denn das Programm ist für Tontechniker. Aber Du hast einen für Dich brauchbaren Arbeitsweg gefunden, daher ist dieser Hinweis völlig wertfrei. Vieles von dem was Reaper kann, kann auch RealBand und das hat wenigstens denselben Wortschatz wie BIAB und auch einige Funktionen von BIAB implementiert. Einige davon sind sogar besser in RB als in BIAB. LG Guido

in der aktuellen Programmversion 2016 wurde u.a. sehr viel getan um den Aufbau der Style-Liste extrem zu beschleunigen.
Ein Gesamthandbuch ist seit heute bei vorhandener 2016er Installation zum Download verfügbar.

Hallo Guido,
hab mich wieder mal hierher "verirrt" und deine Antwort gesehen. Vor allem mal vielen Dank!
Leider ist hier im Menü Bearbeiten kein Punkt "Midi" zu finden. Bin angewiesen auf das Menü Datei > Standard Midi Datei erstellen. Kann dabei das Schlagzeug auch auf unterschiedliche Spuren setzen, aber es ergibt dann immer nur eine Midi-Datei. Beim Import in Magix sind dann auch entsprechend viele Spuren vorhanden, doch die sind zusammenhängend und werden für die Midi-Bearbeitung auch nur gemeinsam (wie alles in einer Spur) angezeigt. Die einzelnen Zeilen zu passenden Instrumenten zu verschieben, wäre ansich möglich. Doch die Fummelei und damit auch die Fehleranfälligkeit ist mir zu groß. Das ganze Paket verschieben hab ich schon mehrmals versucht, bringt aber Kompromisse zustande...
Mir ist klar, ich müsste das Schlagzeug als Audiodatei exportieren (rednern), doch dann sind keine nachträglichen Veränderungen möglich (Pausen, Schäge weg nehmen oder hinzu fügen - was ich normalerweise "haben muss"). Der andere Weg wäre - wie du schreibst - über Realband, doch meine windows-verdorbene Intuition reicht nicht aus, um über die englischsprachige Hilfe den nötigen Zugang zu finden. Werde weiterhin mit Magix experimentieren...
