Yes. I'll look in my files later, but /Backup is one area where you can delete much older versions and recover space (just keep the last one or two). I think there are a few more. You are correct to identify Dragdrop as a major place for which to keep track. Depending on which DAW you use, there is a setting to delete the contents of that folder after each session, but some DAWs need the files to remain.
