I see you've got just 14 posts, and this is probably the first one of them that I've seen. Welcome to the forum.
I thought your lyrics were very interesting... they don't flow in a linear fashion as when lyrics tell a story. Instead you seem to be painting a bunch of semi-related images all of which relate to the mountain. Interesting. The obscurity of the point you're making have the effect of forcing me to fill in the blanks, and that generally adds interest to a song.
I liked your guitar playing... it gives the song a live feel (which I like a lot). I could easily imagine sitting in a pub listening to a band play this song.
Do you perform live, by any chance? I agree with Pat. Some great lyrical images!! Cool guitar! Don't think I've heard you before. Welcome! Looking forward to more. Take care. Greg
