The one thing that used to come with Tracktion.that doesn't now that made it a no brainer was the Final Mix plugin. I have used Tracktion since version 1 and it still feels like home to me but many can't wrap their head around the interface. For me, a signal processing guy, it makes a lot of sense. Can't get any more free than free! The thing that many PGers will miss in checking it out is that there is no notation, just piano roll for midi. Also not mixer view but that is actually quite liberating as you can do much more creative signal routing with it than with a forced bus audio routing structure as in most DAWs
