Hi all- I've looked all over but can't find the answer.
After setting bar one and maybe tweaking it a few times ,I find that when I send it to Biab, the song NEVER lines up with the biab version. I need to keep the song in order to keep track of the chord and song progression. Is there any way to re-adjust the setting so that they are in sync?

Hi Longwaytogetyet,

Welcome to the forums.

I take it that you're referring to the Audio Chord Wizard. If that's correct, go to the below webpage.

http://www.pgmusic.com/videos.bbwin.htm

Scroll down to the "Advanced" section and you'll find a 10 min 38 sec video clip on how to use the Audio Chord Wizard. Watching this may well solve your problem.

Let us know how you go.

Regards,
Noel

Longwaytogetyet,

Yes, we presume you are using the Audio Chord Wizard. Noel's on the money - no surprise there. You can adjust where the first beat of each bar sits in ACW. The video will show you how.

Welcome to the neighborhood.

If you are using BIAB 2016 Windows Build 436, there is an additional step that is currently needed to adjust for a minor bug that the programmers are aware of and are working on a permanent fix.

Once the song has been processed by the ACW and imported into BIAB you need to open the Audio Editor, Right click on the track and Select Permanently apply Bar 1 offset by deleting or inserting silence.

Presently, if you don't do this in BIAB 2016 Build 436, there are issues with syncing and skipping.

Hi - thanks for the reply. Yes, it's ACW that is the problem. I HAVE watched the video but it doesn't help the syncing issue.
Someone has said to go into the song setings and tweek there -I'll see if that helps.

Charlie:

Thanks for letting us know that.
Perhaps it would be helpful if this download page

http://www.pgmusic.com/support_windowsupdates.htm#436

Had a section entitled "Known Issues" so people would be aware of what they're getting into <grin>.

So , I've downloaded the latest update, installed and had another go at it. Did the "permanently apply bar one offset etc" and - what a mess.Totally useless for me. As a test , I even did hotel california and followed along step by step with the video. My Biab did not set the song to the right chord ,so had to reset that manually. Then the tempo ended up at 450 bpm ,not 150 ,as it showed on the ACW.
Ideas, please?
