I totally agree. Many of the combinations of RTs would never have occurred to me. There are also some great new chord progressions available in the demo songs, too.

Again, thanks to all who suggested it was worth the money.
Purchased it on your recommendations.
Have been "wrestling" with a song for ages.
First pick from the Xtra's just absolutely "nailed it".
Now looking forward to checking out the rest. smile

Sorry, I'm tad confused. I don't think I got the 49-pak with my BIAB2016 upgrade,
1)So does that mean I don't have any XtraStyles for this new feature?

2) For the folks who got the 49pak have they had many of the new XtraStyles and only with this upgrade have been able to use them? And no one mentioned this for the past 9 months?

Edit: Never mind I think I figured it out. Seems to be explained here.

Realstyles versus XtraStyles versus Realtracks! Next we will have XtraTracks! grin

So what is exactly different between RealStyles and XtraStyles? Or are XtraStyles simply more Realstyles?? crazy

edit 2: OK, I can answer my own question with a little more attention to the details in the link. Yes. I get it now. God help the newbee's.

OMG, turns out I do have the 49pak installed.

However, buying the new styles breaks one of my rules: "When you don't know what you got, you got too much!" :grin

But you know what they say about rules...

AFAICWO - all the RTs exist (if you have UltraPak or EverythingPak that is.)
What PG has done is to COMBINE certain RTs to make up NEW fully RT styles.
Now I know it could be said that you could do it yourself (I do tend to pick and mix from the RT lists and make my own) but some of these are really good and in combos I wouldnt have thought of.
Cant comment on the Jazz, but the Country, Pop, Rock etc are very usable - certainly for the kind of music I play and great additions.
Just my two penn'orth

Spent some time listening to the demos. They reminded me why I love realtracks. So much music here, but alas so little time.

I am going to guess that ...the folks who put these together really knew what RT's were available and how to arrange them.

I totally agree -- I have already begun re-doing some current projects with some of these excellent new offerings, and my list of "favorite" styles just jumped. The ingredients may have all been pulled from my existing pantry, but the new recipes sure do create some good new eatin' comin' out of the BIAB oven.

When you consider what you do with combinations of only 12 pitches, having thousands of RealTracks to combine ups the game.
