LOL....The wife might have something to say about a drop cord duct taped or j-hook hung throughout the house.

But.... here's one additional thing I do in my studio. This has nothing to do with the 20a circuit..... And... the Furman might already do this....or not.

I bought and use a Tripplite UPS with battery backup large enough to run the computer and everything else plugging into it for several minutes when the power goes out.

This will let you filter the surges coming down the line from getting into the studio gear as well as letting you keep working during a blink or saving the work and shutting down the computer safely if the lights go out totally. Be sure the computer, video monitor, and studio gear are all connected to the "battery backup" outlets on the UPS.

We tend to get blinks 20 to 30 minutes before a storm comes through. So having this is UPS backup prevents a crash and loss of my work. It also gives me time to shut down before the storm arrives.

Remember, not only do you get blinks and failures during storms, but there's also the chance some fool missed his turn and slams into a pole and takes out the power. That has happened here when a distracted driver hit a pole on main street and shut down the power instantly for half a day. In the process of the wires coming down, if the wrong ones touch, you can get a massive surge into your studio gear so always, always, run some sort of decent surge protection on the AC lines.
