Hi all Now I'm on to the next problem. I set up ACW and get through that. I didn't like the drum pattern it chose, so I went in and picked another, previewed it, clicked ok and it shows in my drum part.
Problem is, it doesn't actually change any drums, no matter what I pick . All i get is a hi hat and tap Help ,please

Not sure what you are trying to do.
All ACW does is figure the chord progression for an audio song recording (WAV or WMV or MP3), and then sends that progression back to BIAB. However, by default, when you use ACW and then go back to BIAB, the current style is disabled. So all you are hearing is the original audio (but of course, you see the generated chord progression.
ACW does allow you to change the instruments of the underlying audio. Generally, most people mute the audio, then enable a BIAB style to play back the song. That's not to say you can't overaly the BIAB style tracks on top of the audio track.
But if you aren't getting anything, it makes me think that the style is still disabled.
Please provide more detailed information so we get a better sense of what you are trying to accomplish.

When you use Auto Chord Wizard (ACW) and then use ACW to import the audio into Band-in-a-Box (BiaB), the song style is disabled. A "X" is placed before the name of the style to indicate the style is disabled. Of course when a style is disabled the instruments are muted and do not play. The audio from the imported song file is all you hear.
You can click on the name of the style to enable the style, unmute the instruments and hear them play.

It's been a very long time since I used ACW. But if I remember correctly.... you have to tell it to send the file it creates back to BB where you then select the style you need.
In the tunes I have used it on, one was pretty accurate, while the rest were not. In fact, I ended up simply creating the song from scratch in BB. It was something another writer had sent to me to add a part.... ACW wasn't even close, so I had to listen to the song, learn it, and type out the chords and bass notes needed. I wasted more time trying to get ACW to "do right" than it took to actually type in the chords and changes to recreate the song in BB.
