Update . . . . After 3/4 days trying to get back home we made it a few days ago. And other than our daughter Patty having to go through emergency gallbladder surgery (she is doing fine now) through the monsoon we were truly blessed. In fact we were "Soooo Blessed" to be one of the few out of the more than 10,000 homes and business' who were not flooded in Livingston Parish La. I am still in awe. I am not sure when we will have internet services again, and phone service is spotty at best I have postponed all eConcerts are until further notice. LOL, that will give me more time to try out my set-list at live gigs.

Now with that said we have plenty of food, A/C, dry floors, dry beds, plenty of toilet paper and even "dry drawers" to change into, we are so much more fortunate than the thousands around us who were not so lucky. With this said, other than the sadness felt for our neighbors, life indeed is wonderful.

Thanks so very much to those if you who have reached out to check on us, we will never forget it.

PS: How lucky am I? My town Denham Springs, La. alone . . . 90% of homes and business flooded, 75% totally lost, and we are dry, WOW!

Thanks again, you cats rock!
