This was Periscope's response. Somehow, I don't think it got high enough up the food chain (sigh).

Hi
I am struggling to find a suitable mic to use with periscope when I play and sing live. Periscope doesn't seem to accept an external mic. Any ideas? The IK Multimedia Condenser Mic looks promising. I have an MI Note LTE using Android 6. I am also trying to run an audio cable from my mixer to the Android. Again, same problem - no audio in Periscope.
Thanks.
