Mostly for Peter, One company we work with uses getBread, another alternative. They have an API and iFrame that allows buyers to check out and select monthly installment options (6 month, 12 month etc) Then settles the order for them and deposits $$ in their account within days. getBread is in it for the interest, and you get to select the term options they offer. It was pretty easy to implement (mostly javascript to post the purchase details to them like order#, customer name, etc) and they take it from there. https://www.getbread.com/#/ I was impressed with the ability to get a next day gotomeeting when we had questions and suggestions, with both developers and upper management.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
