Thanks to all who answered, and Herb, I do have Cakewalk Music Creator 6 but I wasn't aware that it came with any FX. Maybe it doesn't if you're talking about Sonar, but I'll have to look again. Told you I was a rookie, eh? It absolutely does have a bunch of FX in it. Reverbs, gates, compression, EQ, and more.... all are there and ready to load and work. No need to look for DLL files or add the FX. I call them the Cakewalk factory defaults and they are all pretty good. Cake started including a few Sonitus plugs but I'm not sure if they are in MC6.... but if they are, they too are ready to roll. If you need help finding them, be sure to drop by the MC forums on the cakewalk website.
