A fine example of a Band In A Box style replicating a great rhythm section with the drummer just keeping GOOD time without too many fills! Louis Armstrong did this with his band years ago. Steely Dan does it today, you'll notice his drummer plays very few fills; and the ones he uses are sssoooo small and tasty! https://soundcloud.com/user-961555398/somedayfinal

Johnny, Thanks for posting that. Yes, the whole thing sounds great to me. Especially the trumpet! And a pleasant surprise... after soundcloud played Someday, it continued on with a jukebox of some more of your performances - great! I really like Rose Room - nice interaction between you and the stride piano "Teddy" style. And .. I just heard your Body and Soul... wow! Yes, the style is:
_jazcmtr.sty Jazz trio with Wes comping.
Then you can add whatever trombone and clarinet you want to the tune. I kept the gain down on them so as to use them just "for the feel" kind of like the trumpet is "up front" with the other horns standing in the background. Of course, the "fiddle" is #1207 and he is put "up front" for his solo. Enjoy, JZ
