After I record I can hear what I 've recorded but not while I record. How can I get a monitor so I can hear while recording? Thanks it's driving me nuts. BnB for Mac 2016'

I believe you are referring to Input Monitoring. Band-in-a-Box is designed to create backing tracks and accompaniment for your chord progressions and personal song ideas. Input Monitoring is not supported in Band-in-a-Box. You will want to use a DAW program for this feature. Mac computers come with a DAW program pre installed called GarageBand that is far more suited to preform tasks such as Input monitoring.
Also if you are using a audio interface when recording your vocals you may have a input monitoring function directly on the interface hardware. If you are indeed using an audio interface please review the features of the interface as you may be able to do input monitoring in Band-in-a-Box this way with out using a 3rd Party DAW such as GarageBand or Logic Pro On the Mac platform.
Please still keep in mind Band-in-a-Box is not a DAW software and only allows one additional audio track to be recorded therefor is not ideal for tracking vocals.

Thanks. Recording audio was one reason I bought the app. but I can live without the monitor I suppose.
I was going to try out vocals (which is still Possible I just can't hear while I record them.

By-the-way I notice you've been a member since 2013 but do not post very often so welcome to the forum!
I'm not familar with the Mac (I'm using Windows) but there are some Mac users in the forum. I'm hoping someone may have a suggestion once they understand your situation better.
What audio interface are you using and how is the interface connected to your computer? What version of operating system are you using? Is your computer a laptop or desktop?

uncle808us, Thank you for providing the additional information. I needed to know if your audio interface has a headphone jack. The Blue Snowball microphone does not include a headphone jack. As Anthony with PG Music mentioned, having a headphone jack on the audio interface allows you to listen in to both your vocal and backing tracks while recording. That feature is called real time monitoring. Samson Technology offers several USB microphones that are priced similiar to the Blue Snowball that include headphone jacks. I have the Samson Go microphone and have been very pleased with the audio I've recorded using the Samson Go. Also, if background noise is an issue with your recordings, Samson Technology has patented noise cancellation software available that only works with their USB microphones. ++ HERE ++ is a link to download the manual and learn more about Samson USB microphones.
