Thank you for providing the additional information. I needed to know if your audio interface has a headphone jack.

The Blue Snowball microphone does not include a headphone jack. As Anthony with PG Music mentioned, having a headphone jack on the audio interface allows you to listen in to both your vocal and backing tracks while recording. That feature is called real time monitoring.

Samson Technology offers several USB microphones that are priced similiar to the Blue Snowball that include headphone jacks. I have the Samson Go microphone and have been very pleased with the audio I've recorded using the Samson Go.

Also, if background noise is an issue with your recordings, Samson Technology has patented noise cancellation software available that only works with their USB microphones.
