Hi, Some versions of Windows 10 (N and KN) don't have Media Player at all, and it would have to be downloaded from Microsoft's website and installed separately. After checking that box and restarting the computer, are you able to find Media Player? If not, it looks like you can get it here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48231Reinstalling Band-in-a-Box is unlikely to help. Every time I've seen the error message you've described, it has been accurate. Thanks Kent PG Music
