To where exactly should the Band-in-a-Box and RealBand desktop shortcuts point? Since taking the latest updates, my logos have been replaced by blank pieces of paper.
I run the Audiophile version, which on my computer is located on the E drive. My OS is Windows 10.
One way to resolve. Navigate to E:\bb and locate bbw.exe, then follow these steps:

Mmmmm. Using Windows 10, I found it impossible to browse those two files, either in File Explorer or with the Shortcut Box. It just said 'unable to locate'.
I solved the problem by just typing in the folders you nominated and the logo shortcut icons reappeared.
I genuinely think there is something different about the way that Windows 10 operates. I am having a huge number of problems trying to do things the way I used to. I might have to join the many other Windows types who have reverted to their old version.
I was just wondering if anybody using Windows 10 had the same problem with their Band-in-a-Box shortcuts. They were working fine but just missing the visual appeal that makes them easy to find on a very busy desktop.
Do a Google Search on "desktop icons missing windows 10"
There's plenty.
Although it's not only Win 10. Other versions have issues also. Mine have been OK.
Q: Is your E: drive the removable Audiophile drive, or is that an internal drive?
If it's the removable drive and you started the computer without it being connected, this might have triggered the O/S to remove the link. Maybe.
