No, I'm not in Staff Roll Notation Mode, just Standard Staff (the non-editable level).
And yes, 'Clean' does tidy it slightly - mostly eliminating fractions of triplets, I think, but it doesn't condense the chords at all.
In the piece I'm currently on, at a beat of 120bpm, slightly rolled chords are , with 'Clean' on, registering with their attack (not their total hold) spreading over a whole beat, or sometimes even more - longer than the actual heard attack.

I suppose I'm really talking about practice here - of course I aspire to improvise live, and I work at that, but I also find playing from score is a good way of getting into new riffs and rhythms.To be able to just peck at the 'comping'-style tenor/alto chordings in the LH while really concentrating on the RH line, it does help if the chords are really crisp for the eye.

I guess I'll have to edit manually.
