For a basic over-view on how to get published, I recommend picking up "All you need to know about the music business" seen here: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/1501104896/ref=...R8084AF5CZ92E09 Its a basic overview about the in's and out's of the music business, how publishing works, how labels work, royalties, etc. Definately a great intro read!
