Render will do the same thing. You'll have to mute the parts you don't want 'frozen'. A 2009 Freeze will also disable the style and mute melody/soloist. Those you can do manually also.

These RealTracks includes “Soul Jazz” with Neil Swainson (bass), Mike Clark (drums), Charles Treadway (organ), Miles Black (piano), and Brent Mason (guitar).
