I learned some rudimentary guitar lead later than most folks and the first one was the obligatory (for my neck of the woods) "Wildwood Flower."

Learned how to play "Oh Susanna" on the organ in grade school. It was from a number book, C=1. I still have it burned in my head...... 1 2 3 5 5 6 5 3 1 2 3 3 2 1 2....... Did your book come with the brightly colored number stickers that you could attach to the keys? I seem to recall one of those old books having them, yes sir.... Don't think my Mom appreciated me pasting those on her keys.

The first song I seriously, intentionally, worked to learn was Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" on piano sometime around 8th or 9th grade.

When I was maybe 10-11 I would buy a music book series called "combo orchs" and get together and play along with my cousin who was 5 years older and quite a bit better than me. He on accordion, me on sax.
Now he at 80 yr. and me at 75 still get together, randomly select tunes from a fake book and have a wonderful time.
Now to respond to the question, there were 2 songs that I remember "learning", Four Brothers and Bill Doggett's Honky Tonk.

Hot Cross Buns on recorder. Required to learn it in 4th grade. Started taking piano lessons the next year.
First songs I learned on my own volition on piano were a couple of Journey songs.
First guitar song: U2's "I Will Follow" for the ultimate in simplicity and it started a lifetime love of guitar ever since.
First difficult bass song: I Wish by Stevie Wonder (this is really just recently based on seeing R.J. Ronquillo's demo on a Sidejack VI bass/guitar.
