OC, sounds really nice!

You wouldn't know that this isn't 'your genre'. I can hear some background vox now and then repeating the ends of phrases.

Sounds great indeed. Wonderful singing and thats a Blind Lemon Jefferson tune originally I believe. Makes you want to get up and cut a rug.

Yes,that is a Blind Lemon Jefferson song originally. It has been recorded many times by many people. Carl Perkins probably most popular. occ

OC. Sounds great. Now you might add some harmony in the chorus areas to spice it up even more. Oddly enough, that's the first time I ever heard that one. Must have come in around the mid 50's eh? Good job on that one.

Hey Russ! You are close on the date. Blind Lemon Jefferson recorded it in 1927 and Carl Perkins recorded it in 1956. I did all this in Real Band with mostly real Instruments. occ

Thoroughly enjoyable, occ - really smooth and tight. Agreed - good idea to put sax in. Curious - did you audition the RT harmonica?
Also, I liked the reverb you used. A gentle delay and a good way to add room depth - keep things close and intimate for the audience. Did you use a particular setting on which reverb (PG?)

Good stuff - Ian

Love that sax!

Ian, I use Time works reverb 4080L. It wasn't free but I like it very much. I've had it for a long time. I've forgotten what it was set on. I tried the harmonica but didn't really like it.
Timeworks has many excelent effects. They have a good mastering software, but I can't afford it. occ
