Hi folks, Recently I created a bootable external drive with the just released macOS Sierra and installed BiaB, Logic Pro X and several Izotope products including Ozone Advanced 7, Nectar 2 and Alloy 2. This was done to test the new OS before loading it on my internal drive, i.e., everything was running on the isolated drive. All software including the the lastest BiaB version worked fine. No problems were anticipated with BiaB but I was concerned with Izotope as they tend to experience issues with the first releases of new OS's. And on their website they suggest waiting until they verify that all works - possibly on into the fall. I'm impatient so I set up the above way of testing it for me. So....it all works for me; however, I would not recommend that anybody upgrade their primary system to the new OS w/o confirming through testing on a secondary drive or the presence statements from the product manufacturer that all is good. Here's a current status list of audio products and Sierra compatibility: http://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/articles/sierra-mac-os-10-12-compatibility-information/ Again, there were no issues or anticipated issues with BiaB but if you are using any third party add on's proceed with an abundance of caution  Given the amazing complexity of BiaB it's a real credit to its developers that it flies so easily through a major OS upgrade. At one point on the external drive I was running BiaB, Logic Pro X, Truverb, Nectar 2, Alloy 2 and Ozone 7 advanced -- everything was open. Zero crashes. Bud

Yeah, I've got clone software and I keep a mirror of everything on the internal drive in addition to using the timeline. But it took little time to create the test drive and I thought it would be less hassle in case things went the file corruption route.

Well too late for me-
BIAB screws up big time with Sierra on my IMAC. Tech support says, "Well sorry You'll have to wait for the patch to come out to fix it--and we dont know when that is."
So they're glad to take my $ and push selling all the updates. I run Digital Performer, et al, with MIDI/audio which is just as complex- probably more- and they stay right on top of new OS updates from Apple. Not BIAB. Just great.
BTW- it wasn't the real tech support I talked to it was chat support because the real tech support is busy developing BIAB 2017 for Windows, so screw the MAC people.

That's very much the same way i am testing macOS Sierra.
It's installed on an external FireWire drive.
All my major DAW's as well as The Band-in-a-Box 2016 play nicely in/with Sierra.
No problems, as such, with iZotope products ( and have nearly all of them ).
Still waiting for Steinberg to do something about providing an Sierra install helper for their products ( Cubase, etc ).
What i noticed with the very last update of Sierra is that RAM available has dropped significantly. To compensate, i have disabled for example Siri and some of my add on system application helpers.
