Because I have been using Band-in-a-Box for so long, I have a large number of song files that have Line-Based lyrics. I am in the process of converting these to Note-Based lyrics, which for me is the most useful method of showing lyrics on a Lead Sheet, either for my band members or for the vocalist. I have no use whatsoever for Bar-Based lyrics.

Each time I call up one of these song files I get the pop-up notice telling me that the file contains Line-Based lyrics and advising how to convert to Bar-Based lyrics. I have tried all three settings for this conversion but none gets rid of the message. Even more annoying is the fact that once I have typed in my new Line-Based lyrics, I cannot get rid of the old Line-Based lyrics, even if I convert them to Bar-Based. The menu function I have tried to use is Edit, Lyrics, Erase Bar-Based Lyrics. Certainly the lyrics disappear on the screen but the next time you call up the file, you once again get the annoying message and the Line-Based/Bar-Based lyrics are still there. mad

So, my questions are: How do you delete Bar-Based lyrics that were once Line-Based. Or even, how do you delete Line-Based lyrics? Either would suit me. And also how do you get rid of the message about converting?
