Final post for now. This is just a love song. The chorus references are what kids learn, somewhat imperfectly, in American history. In recognition of the forum's global membership... Columbus "discovered" America by crossing the Atlantic Ocean in the 15th century. Ponce de Leon searched for the Fountain of Youth in Florida (USA) in the 16th century. Charles Lindbergh was the first person to fly solo across the Atlantic in 1927. Alexander Graham Bell "invented" the telephone in 1875 by hearing his assistant, Watson, energize their experiment. DC Ron, this is fantastic!
Your vocal is excellent, your lyrics are great as are your backing tracks and mix. Your play on history during the chorus is absolutely brilliant.

Mario, thank you so much. Should have added to this posting (like my prior ones) that the lyrics and the vocals belong to others. Lyrics are by R.W. Davis, vocals are by Dusty Hughes. My privilege was to bring the lyrics to song and having Dusty do the (superb) vocals. The chorus IS brilliant. THANK YOU from all of us.  DC Ron, this is fantastic!

Another really cool song DC Ron!! I think the song is perfectly matched to the style. Really love the echo on the vocal which parallels that on the guitar and the washing feel of the rhythm. Very nice stuff!! Take care. Greg
