Hi all - first time poster, contemplating buying BIAB for Win 10.
I owned 32-bit BIAB ten years ago, had fun with it. My biggest gripe was "too much action" - the styles had way more going on than I wanted. Admittedly I could have dug deeper, maybe fixed this.
Now I'd like to create some new music a la eighties Prince, Jam/Lewis, Gap Band, Dazz Band. Simple kick/snare grooves with aggressive drum tones, envelope-follower synth bass lines, trebley skanking guitar on top.
My fear again is that BIAB will add more busy drum fills, keyboard licks, etc. than I prefer. Are there funk styles that are musically simple, or would I have to go in and delete all the excess musical complication?
