I think I know a likely candidate for the forum you describe, and I understand how you feel. If it's the one I think, you probably will find more people there with knowledge about your specific question than here, but we certainly have some solid ones.

Curious, but why did you stay with SONAR X2? That, with the possible exception of X1, was the least stable of all their versions I have used, from Cakewalk Pro Audio and SONAR 3 through 8.5, and now X3 then Platinum.
