"Easy to spot, IMO, for they will have to be entered on the Melody or Soloist tracks."
Maybe I'm missing something here, Mac, but surely the melody is 'on Melody' and the solo (if applicable) 'on Solo', whatever their origin ?
I'd been guessing which lines might have been live-improvised more on sound and feel.

I've just been been playing around, generating sequences and lines, as one does (this one, anyway).
In the Melodist I ticked for a solo to be generated at the same time (ie as well as a melody), whereas usually I'd treat the solo as a separate operation.
After listening to the result, I went to the memo - and despite all the info there about number of notes, and patches, realised neither the melodist nor the soloist was specified.
This omission seems to me a strange 'design decision', and in a sense accounts for the lack of info that I was originally posting about.

So my third related wish would be:
that the memo automatically includes melodist and soloist, when a melodist or soloist has been used.
