Have you noticed that some of the songs posted to our User Showcase Forum are the result of forum users collaborating to create some really unique and catchy tunes!? Like the recent post from MarioD, Who's the Survivor - Mind Over Matter. What a song! Mario & Aleck created something pretty spectacular, don't you think? (full disclosure: I've listened to this song many, many, many times...)  Other recent collaboration posts include: The Right Track, by floyd jane + Janice & Bud, and Caribbean Moon, by Greg Johnson + tommyad. There are so many more... dig deep into the hundreds of posts to listen to all the collaboration songs shared... We think it's pretty great that the PG Music forum members work together to create these songs!

Our collaborations via the forum have resulted in lasting friendships - to the extent that we have traveled to meet one another. And we have discovered so much we have in common with our collaborators that goes beyond the musical bond. BiaB, for the past five years, has genuinely enriched our lives. Without this board we seriously doubt we would returned to making music. You guys rock!!

The collaborations that take place on this forum are simply amazing and one of the things that make it the best place to hang out on the internet.
I listen to podcasts and read quite a lot by independent artists and organizations supporting those independent artists and they are like "do you know that with the internet you collaborate by just sending wav files from one person to another". I'm going "duh, over at pg music we do that ALL the time!

I'm a huge fan of these forum collaborations. I love the idea of people countries away from each other working together for a creative goal! And then the fact that they can share it with other people all over the world is just too cool.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
