The count in is there to give you the speed. With nothing there, how will you know? If it doesnt matter to you, I'd be fascinated to know why.
On the Up side, if you create your backing tracks IN BIAB (rather than exporting tracks to a DAW)and you export the whole thing as a single wav, you can simply clip it off in your DAW of choice.
