Hi,

as there was no response, I contacted the BiaB-support and Kent from BiaB immediatly answered to my request for support and solved my problems.

It was not for the first time that something that did not work as I supposed that it should was due to settings that I was responsibler for and not a matter of BiaB.

May be there is a Mac-user who will have the same problems that I had. Here is the solution as Kent advised:

If you select an IAC-Bus, the MIDI signal gets sent outside of Band-in-a-Box, and the tracks will be silent, even if you've applied plugins to them. You'll need to change Bass, Piano, etc back to the default setting, Apple DLS Synth.

IAC Bus should only be selected if you intend to route the MIDI to another application, and if you do route the signal to one (like a stand-alone synth or sampler), there's no way for Band-in-a-Box to capture that other application's audio when you render to an audio file, as the audio is being generated outside of Band-in-a-Box.

Thank you again, Kent, for your help.
