The best way to understand how TC Helicon works is first to get to know it in Band In A Box. There's a tutorial found under the BIAB's "Help" menu.... (follow the 1, 2, 3, 4 on the image below).



The tutorial refers to a file called "Listen.MGU". This is found under "\bb\Tutorial - Audio Harmony" as shown below.



Once you get the hang of TC Helicon in BIAB, open the file "Listen.MGU" in Realband and then practise using TC Helicon in RB. You'll then see how the software works. Adding harmony to your audio file will be the next step.

Note: To add harmony to audio, you will need to have the chord progression that that supports the audio loaded into RB's chordsheet because TC Helicon will use those chords to create the harmony.
