The realdrum track jazzbebopdannybrushes is out of sync when going to b-section or second chorus.
Checked deleting style changes (reset all bars), making sure there's no audio dxi going on, but, nope... it's the track. Even the wav demo gives you a hint, the last bars being in the b-style. They are off. Out of sync.

Too bad.

Oh yeah, what happened to Danny's bebop sticks? The sound is strange and the clashing sound of the cymbals is disturbing. Someone forgot to turn the limiter back on, bad microphone? Mikes where placed too close? What happened?
I feel bad for mr Gottlieb, having been an admirer of his since his stint with Pat Metheny. This just sounds unmusical and so unworthy of this great drummer.

Dzjang, welcome to the neighborhood.

I tested, and I agree that the clarity isn't as great as it might have been intended. It's possibly worse on the following bar to the part marker change.

I'll report to PG Music in the hope that they need to know about this.

There are a two different tempos in X:\bb\Drums\JazzBebopDannyBrushes
220 & 280 bpm
set RealBand to the tempo of the one closest to the tempo you were using and add a -2 bar offset then drag the wav/wma in, now look at the corresponding txt file,
you can select the next track down, go down to Metronome - Metronome Setting - Write to Track.

Bars Blocked

During the testing of your style, you may come across instances where a particular bar from the style wave file simply does not sound good going into another specific bar from the style wave file. When this happens, you can enter a "BarsBlocked" line into your text file to ensure that these bars are never played back-to-back.

When "BarsBlocked" is typed into the text file, followed by bar numbers separated by commas, Band-in-a-Box® takes the first number, and all of the bar numbers that follow are "blocked" from ever following the initial number.

So, for example, if this line is entered:

BarsBlocked,24,35,41

then bar 24 can never be followed by bars 35 or 41.

However, when using this feature you need to be very careful that you are not creating situations where Band-in-a-Box® will not be able to find a possible match for a bar. When you block a bar, you need to make sure that there are patterns defined starting on other bars that would also work.

Thanks for this.
Is very advanced stuff, I am impressed by your skill.
Nevertheless, not being tech savvy myself, I think Pg Music should correct this. I dig the possibility of deep editing, but, considering the actual pricing, editing should be fun and not correcting mistakes or flaws.
Still, your post helps me discover new possibilities. And that's great! So, thanks a lot.

If you could drag it into RealBand and play it through and just make a note of the bars/s numbers where it sounds bad that would help.
Thanks.

Sorry. I don't use Realband.
If you play a fast bebop tune (230 and faster), at the B section the drums suddenly go out of sync. It lags behind resulting in a very awkward sounding accompaniment.
I almost heard myself shouting: you can't keep time. Guess what? you're fired!
