Lawrence,

This is extremely well done.

I enjoyed the simplicity of the guitar, covered with a sensational vocal.

The way you introduced the strings and other instruments gave depth and color without detracting from the overall presentation.

An outstanding vocal delivery made for a really perfect presentation. Thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.

Lawrence,

Like Trevor said, extremely well done.
Good to have you back on the forum.
A sparse arrangement, with a subtle buildup and top-notch vocals!

Lawrence, Good to hear you again. You have one of my favorite voices on this forum and I am always waiting to see what you have come up with next. I like the Acoustic guitar and the build. The mix is great and of course the vocal is outstanding. Don't stay away so long. Tom

Hi Lawrence,

A wonderful song!

An interesting time signature which helped give the track it's atmosphere.

As usual, a very emotive and powerful vocal and the whole thing topped-off by a superb mix.

ROG.

Love the guitar! That meter change is very effective at turning that simple riff into something super catchy and addictive. Vocal performance is stunning too -- wonderful job smile

Lawrence,

This is incredible, beautiful and sent shivers down my spine. The way you developed the arrangement is a real credit to you. I absolutely love the guitar ostinato that persistently weaves its way from beginning to end as the arrangement grows and grows. In the arrangement-style of Pachelbel Canon's, you've created something very special. Your writing and performance are spectacular. In my opinion, excellence doesn't get better than this.

Really impressive work.

Regards,
Noel

Lawrence,

It's all been said before, but Wow! Beautiful, just beautiful!
Such a great song. One of my favourites on this forum.

I love the simple opening and how the song builds. First voice and guitar, then strings, then piano.
Your vocals are worth a special mention - great soulful tone and very cool vibrato.

First class,
Jez

Noel thank you very much. I clicked the link and listen for a bit. A very familiar composition to say the least. In fact the chord progressions are very similar and they are in the same key so it had a definite influence on my song even if it was subconscious. Very enlightening indeed.
