Just wanted to point out there were lots of Canadian soldiers there too. My mother in law is Dutch, her town was liberated by Canadian soldiers.

We already included the Canadians in the original post.
Which by the way resulted in a lot of children with Canadian fathers, who didn't stay in the Netherlands. Lots of them started looking for their father, when they grew up grin
