You have to start over as in when you first installed the software. It's a pain. Maybe we can see some variation of this in the future where you revert to some levels, but for now it can be a pain.

If I'm serious about a song being really good, I render it to a wav file. Then save it with patches harmonies etc, and change the file name, I usually put *H_filename for a horn piece, *F_filename for a flute piece, and *P_filename for a piano, O for Organ, and V for vocal.

The only solution I see to what you are trying to do would be to save a generic lead in with say a change at a certain bar, and use that as a starting template for other songs...

Sometimes shortcuts turn out the other way.
