Be aware many developers for Open Office moved to Libre Office. There have been several articles detailing how Open Office is having trouble publishing fixes due to lack of developer support. The person in charge of Open Office has indicated the next step is to close down the project due to lack of support. Libre Office is also open source and freeware.
