Hello,
I've been trying to reinstall BIAB 2016 to another laptop and I'm running into some weird issues. If anyone is using jbridge, I no longer see it in any of my Audio/midi menus and it doesnt appear to be either installed or available, I would appreciate any tips you might have, I had it running without any issues on my old computer, but on this laptop I'm having multiple issues getting it setup. Thanks so much,

J-Bridge is a separate install. It does not come with BIAB installation. When you bought J-Bridge, it came with instructions and a password for installation and use.

To get the latest jbridge, just go to J's site and download the latest version. You will need your email address you used when you registered/purchased it to get the non-demo version. You will then get an email with a file in 7-zip format. You'll have to unzip this file using either WinZip (not free) or 7-zip (free). That will result in a secondary zip-format file that you will also need to unzip. After unzipping, you should have an EXE file that you can run to install jbridge. You won't see jbridge - BIAB/RB will just use it. There will be a JBridge entry in your start menu, however, for those plugins you need to create manual bridging files from (the jbridger utility), but you won't need that for BIAB/RB.

Thanks guys, I have been talking with Joao from jbridge, I've downloaded the file several times, I've tried many times to install it, I do have 7zip, when I try to install it, I just see a very brief dos screen and nothing else happens....what am i doing wrong?

How do you know it's not working? And did you install it as administrator, as I'm guessing it needs the proper writes to update the registry?
Here's what I would do. Find the 64-bit VST you want to use. If it's already in your list, I would remove it (in case it's already there as a 32-bit plugin - you can't have both in BIAB or RB); then load the 64-bit plugin and select it. If the VST interface comes up, then you know it's working.

I just installed jbridge the other day. No big light show. It just saves to disk and BIAB finds it and uses it when needed. No actual configuration needed. Here is where it ended up by default.

Yep, I now got it installed, it was another issue with my "version" of windows. It would have been so much easier for me to just buy a laptop in the states and have it sent down here, but with rampant theft in the mail system and greedy & corrupt customs agents, and the massive tax, that isn't possible.
