2017 is kind of an "infrastructure release" in the sense that a lot of small changes have been made that improve performance.
...all that plus more than twice the usual number of real tracks! and all the usual new features!
There's good stuff happenin' in PGMusic land! Think the 201 realtracks was available in biab 16 as well, so maybe not a new thing. musiclover

There's good stuff happenin' in PGMusic land! Think the 201 realtracks was available in biab 16 as well, so maybe not a new thing. musiclover I based that on an actual quote from one of the write-ups on the new version that was part of the beta test... but the version comparison shows that about 200 new RT has been the norm for the past few years.. http://www.pgmusic.com/bbwin.packages.ultra.htmSorry for the confusion. The blurb in the beta document might not have made it to the live ads... but I'll start reading thru the live ads to see if this has been reported correctly. Thanks for pointing that out to me.. I can attest that I read what Pat read. Yes, post when you've researched that. Maybe use the Internet archive to see last year's announcement. I tried to check out last year's pages about a different issue and found that PG has set their website to not allow archiving by the internet archive ( https://web.archive.org/). That is disappointing!

I guess the irony contained in the post didn't shine through... maybe because I forgot the emoticon? While there has been much support for 64-bit, as of yet no one has provided a convincing need. Addressing additional memory is not needed at this time, and JBridge allows access to 64-bit plugins. Presenting BIAB as a plug-in would be a better solution for my needs and my workflow, being used to work with EZDrummer and EZKeys THEN maybe PG Music could take the plunge into uncharted 64-bit territory. One can dream, isn't it?
