Feel free to continue the conversation. The intent was to find out what made that specific song country, and suitable for a country station.
It has wondered into being about how much you get paid for having your video on youtube and what people make and there are other avenues other than radio. I'm well aware of those things and how advertising works overall. I live it, so don't want to "bring work home" lol.
It really takes almost no qualification to put anything on youtube unlike getting your song playing on a radio stations across the country. That is a marvel if you ask me.
So as I said, thanks for the comments. I got what I was looking for, and life is great by me. By all means, carry on...:)

Well, to me it was 'blah blah' I never even made it to 29 seconds. That's me and pop music in general, not much I like these days. But that doesn't mean I don't like current music; just not pop schlock. Just one little example of stuff I like that's pretty recent and pretty 'out there': Dirty Loops - just insanely talented bassist, keyboardist/vocalist and drummer from Sweden: https://youtu.be/j0sYj4wxyk0 If you watch that one, progress to more of their busy stuff. Think it's just studio manipulation - watch their live videos; just nuts!

To the comment/s about listening to radio stations and expecting to hear Country Music on a Country Radio Station; I certainly enjoy country music. The problem is I'll be tuned in to a country station and enjoying it then have to tolerate the few, yet more and more lately, songs that are actually quite irritating to sit through. Such as, my opinion, the reference here. Fortunately I live close enough to big cities with lots of stations to choose from. I probably have 4 - 5 country stations in memory on my car radio just so I can dodge the pop-like songs that get squeezed in. Seems like most stations do it probably every 5th to 8th song. As soon as I hear a song that I simply can't tolerate I hit a different memory button. That way it doesn't spoil my mood too much. I just can't ignore the songs I don't like. I have to skip over them. I think the song in reference could easily have a country version for country music people. I think it would still sell.
Does the noise in your head bother me ?
