I will be upgrading to BIAB 2017 in the very near future, but I have a question first.
I currently have the 2016 UltraPlusPAK, I read in the forum, someone saying you only need to buy the 2017 PlusPAK for $99 to get the latest program updates and the New 202 Realtracks. So what would I gain by buying the UltraPlusPAK upgrade for $149 ?

The UltraPlusPAK upgrade gives you a fully configured 2017 version with all the RealTracks, RealDrums, etc on an external USB drive. Plug it in, and select your installation method (as you did with 2016) and you'll have all the new stuff.
The 2017 PlusPAK gives you just the new files (Program, RealTracks, RealDrums, etc), but will bring you completely up to date as if you had the 2017 UltraPlusPAK USB if you install over your 2016 external USB drive (or over the local hard drive installation on your computer). The difference in cost is the creation and shipping of a few DVDs versus the external hard drive.

On UltraPlusPak web page there is a chart which states there were 150 Midi Supertracks in 2016 UltraPlusPak and there are now 175+ Midi Supertracks in 2017 UltraPlusPak.
Presumably the new 25+ Midi Supertracks are not included in 2017 PlusPak

Not the way I was told. The price diff is: the cost and setup of USB drive versus 2 DVD disks.

Hey Colin, unfortunately that is the case. The new 49-PAK has all of the MIDI SuperTracks, though, sou you could add that to a PlusPAK to get all the new MIDI stuff.

I was on chat with Joseph and he told me if you have 2016 UltraPlusPak installed it does not matter whether you get $99 or the $149...after installing you have the exact same stuff. Now I don't know whether that is correct or not.

From what I understand, John. That's correct. The $149 gives you a complete version of the program (not including the $49 bonuspak). The $99 PlusPak is especially for UltraPlusPak (2016) and EverythingPak (2016) users and only provides all that's needed to get the 2016 version to have everything that the 2017 version has. Again, this does not include the $49 BonusPak. So, if you want absolutely everything the two options are (as I understand it).... PlusPak + BonusPak = US$148 or UltraPlusPak + BonusPak = US$198 The above might be worth checking with Live Chat. Hope this helps, Noel
