HiQ patches are completely separate from using ST as a synth. Confusing I know.

ST allows a user, in this case PGM to create their own patches. Somehow this allowed PG to link those up inside Biab. All that's needed to use those patches is the basic ST free that anybody can install from IKM's website. Those HiQ patches are not part of ST's internal sounds library. This means it doesn't matter if you have the new ST3 installed or not. You do not need JBridge to use those patches because they're not linked to ST3, they're linked to the original ST2 free.

Having said that I also have ST3 with JBridge. That is totally separate from those HiQ patches. I can use Biab's mixer to use the plugin menu for any single instrument and select ST3 then pick whatever patch I want for that track.

Hope this makes sense.
