Hello Frank,
When you get the hard drive, you have a couple of options. One option is to continue to run Band-in-a-Box on your Mac hard drive. To do this, run the "Band-in-a-Box Setup" on the USB hard disk and select the option to install the Band-in-a-Box program to your internal HD - you don't need to delete your existing Band-in-a-Box installation first. Once you've done that, open the program and use the RealTracks and RealDrums settings windows to point to the RealTracks and Drums folders on the USB hard drive. Another option is to run Band-in-a-Box directly from the USB hard drive. It doesn't matter if you remove Band-in-a-Box from your Mac HD or not - that's up to you.
