Thank you. I installed CoolSynth VirtualMidiSynth with the SynerGi GM soundfont and it keeps all effects in place with any and all sequence pauses and restarts. Additionally even using MME drivers I have very low latency when playing a midi keyboard. I am really liking this updated version--- haven't updated in 4 years. The layout to me is the real winner. I could never get the latency as good as I have it now--- could be either Windows 10, better software design with the newer version of Powertracks, both ---or just dumb luck!
