Seriously puzzled now as to where SongFrame will fit in.

I plan to start with my lyrics and sing them into the lappie (that's why I ended up acquiring Melodyne last year and it did help, a bit) in order to get the melody notes and arrangement. In the past, I have tried to get BIAB to suggest melodies for me but I have just never really been too happy with what it has generated. To me, working from a melody to lyrics just seems backward and too awkward.

SongSmith saves me the melody analysis time I need with Melodyne and, as a result, I no longer need to worry about the melody notes. Although I can read music, it is slow and writing it is even worse (lack of practice, I suppose ).

Then, I want to select substitute chords that I like and take the arrangement into RB to add RTs and edit, re-record vocals, mix and master.

Lyrics > SongSmith > SongFrame? > BIAB > RB

I am sure SongSmith will be a great asset to me but where does SongFrame fit in now? One of the things that SF seems to offer is the ability to break into sections, colour coded but do I need this after all?
